How NDIS accredited physiotherapy assist those in our community

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a program that provides all individuals with disabilities with information and connections to trustworthy services in their communities.

Progressive Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy is an NDIS approved provider and offers support to those living with disability in the Nepean, Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury region.

Physiotherapy has proven to have a positive impact on a range of disabilities and chronic conditions. Some of the disabilities and conditions treated at Progressive Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy include:

  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Paraplegia and Quadriplegia

How Physiotherapy Can Help:

Many Australians take for granted the ability to have comfortable movement and control of their bodies. When individuals with disabilities have issues with movement, it can become increasingly frustrating to complete everyday tasks, impacting their overall physical and mental wellbeing. Gentle, hands-on physiotherapy assists in alleviating some of these frustrations, as it can relieve pain and improve the client’s range of movement.

A personalised treatment program.

Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology involves achievable and practical exercises that are tailored to our client’s needs to improve their strength and control. As accredited NDIS physios, our team uses various exercises that allow our clients to improve their mobility and function, while becoming more independent in their day-to-day life.

Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy is an effective treatment that assists those with Musculoskeletal diseases. The buoyancy and heat of the water helps the muscles and tissues relax. This further assists in improving flexibility and range of motion, allowing our clients to improve their everyday movement.

Our team of physiotherapists are qualified to provide care and support for each individual, which is why we have the NDIS tick of approval.
